HIGHTIDEがフラッグシップストアを渋谷にオープン

手を動かして思考を整理し、アイデアを具体化するその最初のプロセスを支える場所「HIGHTIDE LAB-TYO / ハイタイドラボ トーキョー」が8月29日（土）、渋谷にオープンします。

このたび株式会社HIGHTIDE（ハイタイド）は、ファッションやカルチャーの発信地でありながら、周辺には大学などの教育施設が複数ある渋谷・原宿と青山の間に位置する場所に、創作や発想の始まりとなる場所を提供するフラッグシップストア「HIGHTIDE LAB-TYO / ハイタイドラボ トーキョー」をオープンします。

文具・雑貨メーカーである私たちは、デジタルで多くのことが完結する時代においても手を動かし、道具を使い、紙に触れる行為があらゆるクリエーションの始まりになると考えています。

「HIGHTIDE LAB-TYO / ハイタイドラボ トーキョー」は、文具がクリエイティブな活動を支えるツールであることを捉えなおし、学生や研究者、デザイナーやアーティストなど、“多様なつくる人たち”が行き交うエリアに、創作への思考や作業をスタートできる場所を提供します。

ショップには、Penco®、nähe®（ネーエ）、ニューレトロなどのHIGHTIDEの主要ブランドのアイテムに加え、本店舗限定アイテム、古くから愛されてきた定番の文具をHIGHTIDEの視点でセレクトし発売します。また、福岡、東京、ロサンゼルス、ニューヨークなど、HIGHTIDEがこれまで関係性を築いてきた各都市のクリエイターのプロダクトをセレクトし、HIGHTIDEが育んできたグローバルな価値観をお客様に提案します。

3Fにはコミュニティスペースを設け、プロダクトを紹介する場としての活用に加え、お客様とクリエイター、アーティストを交えたワークショップなどを行います。HIGHTIDE LAB-TYOに訪れた皆様のそれぞれの活動が持ち寄られ、新しい動きが生まれるきっかけとなる場所を目指します。

空間設計は、内装設計にとどまらずライフスタイルそのものを提案してきた「Landscape Products」が担当し、本店舗の“道具から生活を考える”というテーマを店舗デザインと融合させました。
ロゴデザインは、国内外のブランドのビジュアルディレクションやアートディレクションを手がけるアートディレクターの平林奈緒美氏が担当しています。


ショップユニフォームは、東京のファッションブランド「DIGAWEL」の西村浩平氏がデザインし、本店舗ではDIGAWEL＆PENCO®︎のコラボレーション商品として、ノートの罫線をリファレンスにしたシャツ3型を発売します。

HIGHTIDE LAB-TYO will open in Shibuya on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

HIGHTIDE will open HIGHTIDE LAB-TYO, a flagship store located between Shibuya, Harajuku, and Aoyama. The area is a hub for fashion and culture, with several universities and other educational institutions nearby. The store is designed to be a place where creativity and ideas begin.

As a stationery and lifestyle goods manufacturer, we believe that even in an age when many things can be accomplished digitally, using our hands, working with tools, and engaging with paper can be the starting point for all kinds of creative activities.

HIGHTIDE LAB-TYO reconsiders stationery as a tool that supports creative activities and offers a place to begin the creative process. Located in an area where a diverse range of makers—including students, researchers, designers, and artists—come and go, the store aims to be a starting point for creative thinking and making.

The shop will offer items from HIGHTIDE’s major brands, including Penco®, nähe®, and New Retro, along with store-exclusive items and classic stationery that has been loved for many years, selected from HIGHTIDE’s lens. The store will also feature products by creators from cities including Fukuoka, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and New York, with whom HIGHTIDE has built relationships over the years. Through this selection, HIGHTIDE will introduce customers to the global values and perspectives it has cultivated through these connections.

The third floor will feature a community space that will be used not only for introducing products, but also for workshops and other events involving customers, creators, and artists. HIGHTIDE LAB-TYO aims to be a place where the various activities of those who visit can come together and create opportunities for new movements to emerge.

The spatial design was created by Landscape Products, which has proposed not only interior design but also lifestyles themselves. The store design integrates the theme of “thinking about life through tools” into the space.

The logo was designed by art director Naomi Hirabayashi, who works on visual and art direction for brands in Japan and abroad.

The shop uniforms were designed by Kohei Nishimura of the Tokyo-based fashion brand DIGAWEL. The store will release three shirt designs as a collaboration between DIGAWEL and Penco®, referencing the ruling lines of Penco® notebooks.
