ハイタイドストア文林堂が「ブンケン。- 文林堂実験倶楽部 Produced by HIGHTIDE」としてリニューアル

ものづくりと多様なカルチャーが交差する新たな場「ブンケン。- 文林堂実験倶楽部 Produced by HIGHTIDE」が始動します。

このたび、ハイタイドストア文林堂は、福岡の活版印刷所「文林堂」とHIGHTIDEがともにつくる共同プロジェクト「ブンケン。- 文林堂実験倶楽部 Produced by HIGHTIDE」としてリニューアルします。

規則正しく響く印刷機の音、どこか懐かしいインクの香り、指先に伝わる紙の手触り。普段なかなか入ることのできない活版印刷の工房を舞台に、ものづくりや多様なカルチャーに触れるワークショップやイベントを開催します。

人が集い、対話し、文化に触れることで生まれる新たな発見やつながり。「ブンケン。」では、実際に手を動かしながらものづくりを楽しみ、学び、新しい創造へとつながる場を目指します。

「ブンケン。」の始動にあわせ、9月には活版印刷をテーマにしたトークイベントとワークショップを開催します。

9月19日（土）には、文林堂の山田善之氏とデザイナーの野見山聡一郎氏を迎えたトークイベント「活版印刷とデザイン」を開催。9月26日（土）には、金属活字を使って好きな言葉を印刷し、オリジナルのしおりをつくる活版ワークショップ「好きな言葉でしおりを作ろう」を行います。

A new space where craftsmanship and diverse cultures intersect, “BUNKEN. – Bunrindo Experimental Club Produced by HIGHTIDE,” is set to launch.

HIGHTIDE STORE Bunrindo will be relaunched as “BUNKEN. – Bunrindo Experimental Club Produced by HIGHTIDE,” a collaborative project between HIGHTIDE and Bunrindo, a letterpress printing company based in Fukuoka.

The rhythmic sound of the printing press, the nostalgic scent of ink, and the texture of paper beneath your fingertips. Set within a working letterpress studio rarely open to the public, BUNKEN. will host workshops and events that offer opportunities to experience craftsmanship and a diverse range of cultures.

Through people coming together, exchanging ideas, and engaging with culture, new discoveries and connections can emerge. At BUNKEN., we aim to create a place where making things by hand becomes an opportunity to enjoy, learn, and inspire new forms of creativity.

To mark the launch of BUNKEN., we will host a talk event and workshop centered on letterpress printing in September.

On Saturday, September 19, Bunrindo’s Yoshiyuki Yamada and designer Soichiro Nomiyama will join us for a talk event titled “Letterpress Printing and Design.” On Saturday, September 26, we will host a letterpress workshop, “Make a Bookmark with Your Favorite Words,” where participants can use metal type to print words of their choice and create an original bookmark.
