日々の暮らしに寄り添い、いくつもある「お気に入り」のひとつとして長く大切にできるプロダクトを提案するattaché（アタシェ）から、背の綴じ糸が美しく、180度フラットに開く「コデックス装」を採用したノートが登場します。

背表紙を設けず、綴じ糸をあえて見せるコデックス装は、どのページを開いても180度フラットな状態を保ち、見開きいっぱいを使って筆記できるのが特徴です。360度折り返したり、丸めて片手で持ったりできる柔軟性も備え、デスクでの筆記はもちろん、移動中のメモやスケッチにも活躍します。

ノートの天・地・小口には、国内でもごく一部の製本所でしか再現できない特殊な印刷技術によって、マーブル柄の「三方印刷」を施しました。閉じた状態でも美しく、一冊ごとに異なるマーブル柄の表情を楽しめるほか、小口が汚れにくい実用性も兼ね備えています。

表紙には、本革のような上品な風合いと耐久性を備えたレザー調クロス紙を採用。水分や汚れにも強く、日常使いしやすい仕様です。中紙には、裏抜けしにくく滑らかな書き味の「トモエリバーS」を使用しています。クリーム色の無地ページは、筆記はもちろん、スケッチや図解など幅広い用途に使えます。7mm横罫と5mm方眼の罫線台紙とスピンも付属し、アイデアの記録から旅先でのスケッチ、ライフログまで、さまざまなシーンで自由に使える一冊です。

A special notebook where craftsmanship meets functional design

attaché creates products designed to become lasting favorites, bringing a sense of comfort and pleasure to everyday life. Its latest release is a notebook featuring Codex binding, distinguished by its exposed stitching and ability to open flat to 180 degrees.

With no conventional spine, the Codex binding leaves the stitching exposed, while the notebook stays flat at 180 degrees, no matter which page is open, making full use of each two-page spread. Its flexible construction also allows it to fold back 360 degrees or roll up for easy one-handed use, making it equally practical for writing at a desk or taking notes and sketching on the go.

The top, bottom, and fore-edge are finished with a marbled three-edge print, created using a specialized printing technique available at only a limited number of binderies in Japan. Each notebook has its own unique variation in the marbled pattern, giving it a distinctive look even when closed, while the printed edges also help conceal everyday marks and dirt.

The cover is made from leather-like bookbinding cloth with an elegant texture and lasting durability. Resistant to water and dirt, it is designed for comfortable everyday use. Inside, the notebook features Tomoe River S paper, known for its smooth writing feel and resistance to bleed-through. The cream-colored blank pages can be used for a wide range of purposes. A reversible guide sheet with 7 mm ruled lines and a 5 mm grid, along with a ribbon bookmark, is also included, making the notebook versatile enough for everything from capturing ideas to travel sketches and life logging.
